וַיֶּעְתַּר מָנֹוחַ אֶל־יְהוָה וַיֹּאמַר בִּי אֲדֹונָי אִישׁ הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר שָׁלַחְתָּ יָבֹוא־נָא עֹוד אֵלֵינוּ וְיֹורֵנוּ מַה־נַּעֲשֶׂה לַנַּעַר הַיּוּלָּד׃

Tada upravi Manoah ovu molitvu Gospodu: "Oproštenje, Gospode, čovjek Božji, kojega si poslao, neka još jedanput dođe k nama i neka nam očituje, što ćemo činiti s dječakom, koji se ima roditi!"

Tada se Manoje pomoli Gospodu i reče: o Gospode! neka opet dođe k nama čovjek Božji, kojega si slao, da nas nauči šta ćemo činiti s djetetom, kad se rodi.
