Kadgod bi Leviti donosili kovčeg kraljevskoj oblasti - kad bi se naime vidjelo, da ima u njemu mnogo novaca - došao je činovnik kraljevski i poslanik velikoga svećenika. Oni bi ispraznili kovčeg i onda ga opet odnosili na njegovo mjesto. Tako su činili svaki dan i nakupiše mnogo novaca.

Leviti bi donosili kovčeg kraljevskom nadgledništvu, i kad bi se vidjelo da ima mnogo novaca, dolazio je kraljev tajnik i povjerenik svećeničkog poglavara te bi ispraznili kovčeg. Onda su ga opet odnosili i stavljali na njegovo mjesto. Tako su činili svaki dan i sabrali mnogo novca.

I kad donošahu Leviti kovčeg po zapovijesti carevoj, vidjevši da ima mnogo novaca, dolažaše pisar carev i poslanik poglavara svešteničkoga, te izručivahu kovčeg, potom ga opet odnošahu i ostavljahu na njegovo mjesto; i tako činjahu svaki dan, i nakupiše mnogo novaca.

Kad dođe čas da se predstavi škrabica provjeri kraljevoj pod nadzorom levita, i kad oni vidješe da bijaše mnogo novaca, kraljev tajnik i nadzornik velikog svećenika, isprazniše škrabicu i vratiše ju na njeno mjesto. Oni činiše tako svakog dana i sakupiše oni veliku količinu novca.
