(APB) John 19 : 1 Then Pilate scourged Yeshua.
(APB) John 19 : 2 And the soldiers wound a crown from thorns and they placed it on his head and clothed him with a purple robe.
(APB) John 19 : 3 And they were saying, "Hail to you, King of the Judeans”, and they were hitting him on his cheeks.
(APB) John 19 : 4 And Pilate went outside again and he said to them, "Behold, I bring him forth to you outside that you may know that I find no occasion for complaint in him, not even one cause.”
(APB) John 19 : 5 And Yeshua went forth outside with the crown of thorns upon him and the purple robe, and Pilate said to them, "Behold, here is the man.”
(APB) John 19 : 6 But when the Chief Priests and the guards saw him, they cried out and they were saying, "Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate said to them, "Take him and crucify him, for I do not find any fault in him.”
(APB) John 19 : 7 The Judeans were saying to him, "We have a law and according to that in our Written Law he is condemned to death because he made himself the Son of God.”
(APB) John 19 : 8 But when Pilate heard this statement he was even more afraid.
(APB) John 19 : 9 And he entered the Praetorium again and he said to Yeshua, "Where are you from?” But Yeshua gave him no answer.
(APB) John 19 : 10 Pilate said to him, "Are you not speaking with me? Do you not know that I have power to release you and I have power to crucify you?”
(APB) John 19 : 11 Yeshua said to him, "You have no power at all over me unless it has been given to you from above; therefore, whoever has delivered me to you has greater sin than yours.”
(APB) John 19 : 12 Because of this Pilate wanted to release him, but the Judeans were crying out, "If you release this man, you are not Caesar's friend, for everyone who makes himself King is an adversary of Caesar.”
(APB) John 19 : 13 But when Pilate heard this statement he brought Yeshua outside and sat down on the judgment seat and the place that was called R'tsiftha d'Kaypha, but in Judean Aramaic it is called Gpiptha.
(APB) John 19 : 14 And it was the eve of the Passover, and it was about the sixth hour, and he said to the Judeans, "Behold, here is your King!”
(APB) John 19 : 15 But they were crying out, "Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?” The Chief Priests were saying, "We have no King but Caesar!”
(APB) John 19 : 16 Then he delivered him to them that they would crucify him, and they led Yeshua and brought him out.
(APB) John 19 : 17 Then he took up his cross to the place called Qaraqpatha, but in Judean Aramaic it is called Gagultha,
(APB) John 19 : 18 Where they crucified him and two others with him, one on one side and one on the other side, and Yeshua in the center.
(APB) John 19 : 19 And Pilate wrote a title and placed it on his cross, but it was written thus: "This is Yeshua the Nazarene, The King of the Judeans.”
(APB) John 19 : 20 And many of the Judeans read this tablet, because the place in which Yeshua was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic and in Greek and in Latin.
(APB) John 19 : 21 And the Chief Priests said to Pilate, "Do not write, 'He is The King of the Judeans', but, "He said, 'I am The King of the Judeans.'”
(APB) John 19 : 22 Pilate said, "What I have written, I have written.”
(APB) John 19 : 23 But the soldiers, when they had crucified Yeshua, took his garments, and they made four parts, a part to each of the soldiers; but his tunic was without a seam: it was woven entirely from the top.
(APB) John 19 : 24 And they said to one another, "Let us not tear it, but let us cast lots for it, who will be allowed to have it.” And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "They divided my garment among them and for my clothing they cast lots.” The soldiers therefore did these things.
(APB) John 19 : 25 But his mother and the sister of his mother, and Mary, who was of Cleopa, and Maryam Magdalitha, were standing at the cross of Yeshua.
(APB) John 19 : 26 But Yeshua saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing and he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son.”
(APB) John 19 : 27 He said to that disciple, "Behold, your mother.” And from that hour that disciple received her to himself.
(APB) John 19 : 28 After these things Yeshua knew that everything had been finished, and that the scripture may be fulfilled, he said, "I thirst.”
(APB) John 19 : 29 And a vessel had been set full of vinegar, but they filled a sponge from the vinegar and placed it on hyssop and they put it near to his mouth.
(APB) John 19 : 30 When he took the vinegar, Yeshua said, "Behold, it is finished.” And he bowed his head and gave up his Spirit.
(APB) John 19 : 31 But the Judeans, because it was evening, they were saying, "These bodies will not pass the night on their crosses, because the Sabbath day is approaching”, for it was a great Sabbath day. And they sought from Pilate to break the legs of those who had been crucified, and they would be taken away.
(APB) John 19 : 32 And the soldiers came and they broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with him.
(APB) John 19 : 33 When they came to Yeshua, they saw that he had died already and they did not break his legs.
(APB) John 19 : 34 One of the soldiers struck him on his side with his spear, and at once blood and water issued forth.
(APB) John 19 : 35 And he who saw testified and his testimony is true and he knows that he spoke the truth so that you also may believe.
(APB) John 19 : 36 For these things happened that the scripture should be fulfilled that says, "Not a bone of him will be broken”,
(APB) John 19 : 37 And another scripture again, that says, "They shall gaze at him whom they pierced through.”
(APB) John 19 : 38 After these things, Yoseph, who was from Ramtha, sought from Pilate because he was a disciple of Yeshua, ( and it was secretly from fear of the Judeans ), that he might take the body of Yeshua; and Pilate gave him permission and he came and took away his body.
(APB) John 19 : 39 And Nicodemus also came, who had come before to Yeshua by night, and he brought with him spices of myrrh for Yeshua and of aloes about 100 pounds.
(APB) John 19 : 40 And they took away the body of Yeshua and wrapped it in linen and in sweet spices, just as the custom of the Judeans is for burying.
(APB) John 19 : 41 And there was in that place where Yeshua had been crucified a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which a man had not yet been laid.
(APB) John 19 : 42 And they laid Yeshua there because the Sabbath was approaching and because the tomb was nearby.
