וְאֹותִי יֹומ* יֹום יִדְרֹשׁוּן וְדַעַת דְּרָכַי יֶחְפָּצוּן כְּגֹוי אֲשֶׁר־צְדָקָה עָשָׂה וּמִשְׁפַּט אֱלֹהָיו לֹא עָזָב יִשְׁאָלוּנִי מִשְׁפְּטֵי־צֶדֶק קִרְבַת אֱלֹהִים יֶחְפָּצוּן׃

Pitaju me dan na dan i rado bi htjeli doznati putove moje. Kao narod, koji čini pravednost i ne odmiče se od pravde Boga svojega, tako oni traže od mene sudove pravedne, navaljuju na objavljenje Božje.

Premda me svaki dan traže i radi su znati putove moje, kao narod koji tvori pravdu i ne ostavlja suda Boga svojega; ištu od mene sudove pravedne, žele približiti se k Bogu.

Ja sam taj kojeg oni dan za danom pitaju za savjet, upoznati moje putove tu oni traže svoju ugodu, kao jedan narod koji je primijenjivao pravdu i nije napustio pravo svojeg Boga. Oni zahtijevaju od mene suđenje prema pravdi, oni traže zadovoljstvo u blizini Božjoj:
