וְהָיָה אִם־לֹא יַאֲמִינוּ גַּם לִשְׁנֵי הָאֹתֹות הָאֵלֶּה וְלֹא יִשְׁמְעוּן לְקֹלֶךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ מִמֵּימֵי הַיְאֹר וְשָׁפַכְתָּ הַיַּבָּשָׁה וְהָיוּ הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר תִּקַּח מִן־הַיְאֹר וְהָיוּ לְדָם בַּיַּבָּשֶׁת׃

והיה אם־לא יאמינו גם לשני האתות האלה ולא ישמעון לקלך ולקחת ממימי היאר ושפכת היבשה והיו המים אשר תקח מן־היאר והיו לדם ביבשת׃

Ako li ne budu vjerovali na ta obadva znaka i ne poslušaju te, onda uzmi malo vode iz Nila i prolij je na suho tlo! Tada će se voda, što si je uzeo iz Nila, na suhom tlu pretvoriti u krv.

Ako li ne uzvjeruju ni za ta dva znaka i ne poslušaju glasa tvojega, a ti zahvati vode iz rijeke, i prolij na zemlju, i pretvoriće se voda koju zahvatiš iz rijeke, i provrći će se u krv na zemlji.
