Kad se je jedanput klanjao u hramu svojega boga Nisroka, ubiše ga mačem njegovi sinovi Adramelek i Sareser. Tada pobjegoše u zemlju Ararat. Njegov sin Esar-Hadon postade kralj mjesto njega.
