כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי אֶל־הָרֹעִים וְדָרַשְׁתִּי אֶת־צֹאנִי מִיָּדָם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּים מֵרְעֹות צֹאן וְלֹא־יִרְעוּ עֹוד הָרֹעִים אֹותָם וְהִצַּלְתִּי צֹאנִי מִפִּיהֶם וְלֹא־תִהְיֶיןָ לָהֶם לְאָכְלָה׃ ס

Ovako veli svemogući Gospod: "Evo, ja ću izaći proti tim pastirima i iskat ću stado svoje iz njihove ruke. Učinit ću kraj pastirskoj službi njihovoj. Neće više pastiri pasti sami sobe. Otet ću stado svoje iz ralja njihovih. Neće im više služiti za hranu.
