וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל־אַהֲרֹן וּלְאֶלְעָזָר וּלְאִיתָמָר בָּנָיו רָאשֵׁיכֶם אַל־תִּפְרָעוּ וּבִגְדֵיכֶם לֹא־תִפְרֹמוּ וְלֹא תָמֻתוּ וְעַל כָּל־הָעֵדָה יִקְצֹף וַאֲחֵיכֶם כָּל־בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל יִבְכּוּ אֶת־הַשְּׂרֵפָה אֲשֶׁר שָׂרַף יְהוָה׃

Nato Mojsije zapovjedi Aronu i sinovima njegovim Eleazaru i Itamaru: "Ne smijete vlasi svoje neuređeno spuštati i haljine svoje derati. Inače morate umrijeti, i Gospod bi se razgnjevio na svu zajednicu. A braća vaša, sva kuća Izraelova, neka oplakuje požar, što ga zapali Gospod.
