(APB) Titus 1 : 1 Paulus a Servant of God and an Apostle of Yeshua The Messiah, in the faith of The Chosen Ones of God and the knowledge of the truth which is in the awesomeness of God,
(APB) Titus 1 : 2 Concerning the hope of eternal life, which The True God promised before the times of the world.
(APB) Titus 1 : 3 And he has revealed his word in his time by our preaching, with which I was entrusted by the commandment of God Our Lifegiver.
(APB) Titus 1 : 4 To Titus, a true son in the inner faith: Grace and peace from God The Father and from our Lord Yeshua The Messiah, Our Lifegiver.
(APB) Titus 1 : 5 For this reason I had left you in Crete, that you might set right those things that are lacking, and ordain Elders in each city just as I ordered you:
(APB) Titus 1 : 6 One who is without fault and has been the husband of one wife, and has believing children who are not abusive and not insubordinate in immorality.
(APB) Titus 1 : 7 For an Elder ought to be without faults as a steward of God, and not led by his own mind, neither bad tempered, neither excessive with wine, neither should he be quick to strike with his hand, neither loving filthy riches,
(APB) Titus 1 : 8 But he should love strangers, love goodness, should be modest, just, holy, and keep himself from lusts.
(APB) Titus 1 : 9 He should care for the teaching of the word of faith, as to be able also to comfort by his sound teaching, and rebuke those who are contentious.
(APB) Titus 1 : 10 For there are men who are not submissive and their words are empty; they deceive the minds of people, especially those who are of the circumcision,
(APB) Titus 1 : 11 Those whose mouths must be stopped up, for they destroy many households and teach what is not right for the sake of filthy riches.
(APB) Titus 1 : 12 One man among them, their own Prophet said, "The children of Crete are always liars, wicked beasts and idle bellies.”
(APB) Titus 1 : 13 And he has brought this testimony truthfully; therefore, rebuke them severely that they might be sound in the faith.
(APB) Titus 1 : 14 And they should not yield to fables of the Judeans and commands of men who hate the truth.
(APB) Titus 1 : 15 For to the pure everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but their mind and conscience is defiled.
(APB) Titus 1 : 16 And they profess that they know God, but by their works they reject him; they are enemies, disobedient and worthless concerning every good work.
