וְהָיוּ חַלְלֵי יְהוָה בַּיֹּום הַהוּא מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ וְעַד־קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ לֹא יִסָּפְדוּ וְלֹא יֵאָסְפוּ וְלֹא יִקָּבֵרוּ לְדֹמֶן עַל־פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה יִהְיוּ׃

Pobijeni od Gospoda leže u onaj dan od jednoga kraja zemlje do drugoga. Neće biti oplakani, neće se pokupiti, neće groba naći. Služe kao gnoj na njivi.

I u onaj će dan biti od kraja do kraja zemlje pobijeni od Gospoda, neće biti oplakani, niti će se pokupiti i pogrepsti, biće gnoj po zemlji.
