אֱמֹר כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהֹוִה תִּצְלָח הֲלֹוא אֶת־שָׁרָשֶׁיהָ יְנַתֵּק וְאֶת־פִּרְיָהּ יְקֹוסֵס וְיָבֵשׁ כָּל־טַרְפֵּי צִמְחָהּ תִּיבָשׁ וְלֹא־בִזְרֹעַ גְּדֹולָה וּבְעַם־רָב לְמַשְׂאֹות אֹותָהּ מִשָּׁרָשֶׁיהָ׃

אמר כה אמר אדני יהוה תצלח הלוא את־שרשיה ינתק ואת־פריה יקוסס ויבש כל־טרפי צמחה תיבש ולא־בזרע גדולה ובעם־רב למשאות אותה משרשיה׃

Zato kaži: "Ovako veli svemogući Gospod: "Može li napredovati Neće li mu onaj orao počupati korijenje i rod mu odsjeći, tako da mu se posuše sve mlade grane? On će se posušiti, i neće trebati silne mišice i mnogoga naroda, da ga isčupa iz korijenja njegova.

Reci: 'Ovako govori Jahve Gospod: Hoće l' uspijevati? Neće l' mu orao sve žilje izguliti? Neće l' mu sve plodove potrgati? Neće l' mu sve mladice, čim izbiju, sasušiti? Da, i bez snažne mišice, i bez mnoštva naroda, iščupat će ga iz korijena!

Kaži: ovako veli Gospod Gospod: hoće li napredovati? neće li mu počupati žile i rod mu oblomiti da se posuši? Sve će mu se grane što je pustio posušiti, i bez velike sile i bez mnogoga naroda iščupaće ga iz korijena.

Reci: Ovako govori Gospodin BOG: Može li ona napredovati? Orao ne će li iščupati njeno korijenje, pustiti uvenuti njen plod, i sasušiti se ? Svi njeni istrgnuti izdanci sasušit će se. Nikakve potrebe za jednom moćnom rukom, ni za mnogo za iščupati ju!
