וְאֵת שְׂעִיר הַחַטָּאת דָּרֹשׁ דָּרַשׁ מֹשֶׁה וְהִנֵּה שֹׂרָף וַיִּקְצֹף עַל־אֶלְעָזָר וְעַל־אִיתָמָר בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַנֹּותָרִם לֵאמֹר׃

Kada je Mojsije pomno propitao za jarca žrtve radi grijeha, pronašlo se, da je bilo spaljeno. Tada se on jako razgnjevi na Eleazara i Itamara, sinove Aronove, koji su mu još bili ostali, i reče:
