וַיַּמְרוּ־בִי וְלֹא אָבוּ לִּשְׁמֹעַ אֵלַי אִישׁ אֶת־שִׁקּוּצֵי עֵינֵיהֶם לֹא הִשְׁלִיכוּ וְאֶת־גִּלּוּלֵי מִצְרַיִם לֹא עָזָבוּ וָאֹמַר לִשְׁפֹּךְ חֲמָתִי עֲלֵיהֶם לְכַלֹּות אַפִּי בָּהֶם בְּתֹוךְ אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃

וימרו־בי ולא אבו לשמע אלי איש את־שקוצי עיניהם לא השליכו ואת־גלולי מצרים לא עזבו ואמר לשפך חמתי עליהם לכלות אפי בהם בתוך ארץ מצרים׃

Ali su se oni pokazali prema meni tvrdovrati i nijesu me htjeli poslušati. Ni jedan nije odbacio gadova idolskih, za koje su prianjali, i nijesu se okanili idola egipatskih. Tada sam mislio da izlijem jarost svoju na njih, da izvršim gnjev svoj na njima u zemlji egipatskoj.

Ali se oni odvrgoše od mene i ne htjedoše me poslušati: nijedan ne odbaci gadosti koje mu oči zaniješe i ne okani se kumira egipatskih. Tad odlučih izliti gnjev svoj na njih i iskaliti srdžbu na njima u zemlji egipatskoj.

Ali se odvrgoše od mene, i ne htješe me poslušati, nijedan ih ne odbaci gadova ispred očiju svojih, i gadnijeh bogova Misirskih ne ostaviše; zato rekoh da ću izliti jarost svoju na njih da izvršim gnjev svoj na njima usred zemlje Misirske.
