(APB) Luke 16 : 1 And he told a parable to his disciples: "There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and they were accusing him that he was squandering his wealth.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 2 And his Lord summoned him and said to him, "What is this I have heard about you? Give me an inventory of your stewardship, for you cannot be a steward for me any longer.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 3 That steward said to himself, "What shall I do? My Lord has taken the stewardship from me; I cannot dig, and I am ashamed to beg.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 4 "I know what I shall do, that when I am put out from the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 5 "And he called each one who was indebted to his lord and he said to the first, 'How much do you owe to my lord?' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 6 "And he said to him, 'A hundred baths of oil', and he said to him, 'Take your book, sit quickly and write fifty baths.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 7 "And he said to another, 'And what do you owe to my lord?', and he said to him, 'A hundred cors of wheat.' He said to him, 'Take your book and sit and write eighty cors.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 8 And our Lord praised the evil steward, because he acted wisely, for "The children of this world in this their generation are wiser than the children of light.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 9 "Also, I say to you, make for yourselves friends of this money of evil, that whenever it has been spent, they may receive you into their eternal dwellings.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 10 "Whoever is faithful with little is faithful with much also, and whoever does evil with a little also does evil with much”
(APB) Luke 16 : 11 "If therefore you are not faithful with the wealth of evil, who will commit to you the reality?”
(APB) Luke 16 : 12 "And if you are not found faithful with what is not yours, who will give you what is yours?”
(APB) Luke 16 : 13 "There is no servant who can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will honor the one and he will neglect the other. You cannot serve God and money.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 14 But when the Pharisees heard all these things, they were mocking him because they loved money.
(APB) Luke 16 : 15 But Yeshua said to them: "You are those who justify themselves before men, but God knows your hearts, for the thing that is exalted among men is disgusting before God.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 16 "The Law and The Prophets were until Yohannan; from then, the Kingdom of God is announced, and everyone is pushing to enter it.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 17 "But it is easier for Heaven and earth to pass away than for one symbol of The Law to pass away.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 18 "Whoever divorces his wife and takes another commits adultery, and everyone who takes her who is divorced commits adultery.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 19 "There was a certain rich man, and he wore fine white linen and purple and everyday he celebrated luxuriously.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 20 "And there was a certain poor man whose name was Lazar and he lay at the gate of that rich man, being stricken with abscesses.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 21 "And he longed to fill his belly with the fragments that fell from the rich man's table, but also the dogs would come licking his abscesses.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 22 "But that poor man died and Angels brought him to The Bosom of Abraham. And the rich man also died and he was buried.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 23 "And suffering in Sheol, he lifted up his eyes from afar off and he saw Abraham, and Lazar in his bosom.”
(APB) Luke 16 : 24 "And he called in a loud voice and he said, 'My father, Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazar to dip the tip of his finger in water and moisten my tongue for me; behold, I am suffering in this flame.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 25 "Abraham said to him, 'My son, remember that you have received your good things in your life and Lazar, his evil things, and now, behold, he is comforted here and you are suffering.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 26 'And along with all these things, there stands a great abyss between us and you, so that those who would pass from here to you are not able, neither is whoever is there able to pass over to us.'
(APB) Luke 16 : 27 "He said to him, 'Therefore, I beg of you, my father, to send him to my father's house.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 28 'For I have five brothers; he should go testify to them so that they would not come to this place of torment also.'
(APB) Luke 16 : 29 "Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and The Prophets, let them hear them.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 30 "But he said to him, 'No, my father Abraham, but if a man will go to them from the dead, they will be converted.' "
(APB) Luke 16 : 31 "Abraham said to him, 'If they will not hear Moses and The Prophets, they will not believe him, even though a man would rise from the dead.' "
