הֹבִישׁוּ כִּי תֹועֵבָה עָשׂוּ גַּם־בֹּושׁ לֹא־יֵבֹושׁוּ גַּם־הַכְלִים לֹא יָדָעוּ לָכֵן יִפְּלוּ בַנֹּפְלִים בְּעֵת־פְּקַדְתִּים יִכָּשְׁלוּ אָמַר יְהוָה׃ ס

Morali bi se stidjeti, što su činili gad, ali se ne stide, ne znaju se više zarumeniti. Zato će popadati, kad pada sve, i srušiti se, kad ih kaznim", veli Gospod.

Eda li se postidješe što činiše gad? Niti se postidješe niti znaju za stid; zato će popadati među onima koji padaju; kad ih pohodim, popadaće, veli Gospod.

Oni su zbunjeni, jer su počinili užase, ali neće ih se postidjeti; oni nisu svjesni svojeg beščašća. Eh dobro! oni će se stropoštati kao i svi drugi, oni će posrnuti kad ja budem bjesnio protiv njih, reče GOSPOD.
