וְכָרַתִּי לָהֶם בְּרִית בַּיֹּום הַהוּא עִם־חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה וְעִם־עֹוף הַשָּׁמַיִם וְרֶמֶשׂ הָאֲדָמָה וְקֶשֶׁת וְחֶרֶב וּמִלְחָמָה אֶשְׁבֹּור מִן־הָאָרֶץ וְהִשְׁכַּבְתִּים לָבֶטַח׃

U onaj ću dan njima za ljubav sklopiti zavjet sa životinjama poljskim, s pticama nebeskim i s crvima zemaljskim. Luk, mač i ratnu spravu istrijebit ću sa zemlje i učinit ću da stanuju u miru.
