וָאֲבִיאֵם אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂאתִי אֶת־יָדִי לָתֵת אֹותָהּ לָהֶם וַיִּרְאוּ כָל־גִּבְעָה רָמָה וְכָל־עֵץ עָבֹת וַיִּזְבְּחוּ־שָׁם אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶם וַיִּתְּנוּ־שָׁם כַּעַס קָרְבָּנָם וַיָּשִׂימוּ שָׁם רֵיחַ נִיחֹוחֵיהֶם וַיַּסִּיכוּ שָׁם אֶת־נִסְכֵּיהֶם׃

Odveo sam ih u zemlju, koju sam im bio pod zakletvom obećao dati. Ipak oni, gdjegod su ugledali visok hum ili drvo granato, klali bi žetve svoje, prinosili bi ondje izazovne žrtvene darove svoje, stavljali bi ondje miomirisne žrtve svoje i izlijevali bi naljeve svoje.
