Opet ga zamoli Ilija "Ostani ipak ovdje! Gospod posla mene na Jordan." A on odgovori: "Tako živ bio Gospod i tako živ bio ti sam, ja te ne ostavljam!" I tako nastaviše svoj put obojica zajedno.

Opet mu reče Ilija: ostani ti tu, jer me Gospod šalje na Jordan. A on reče: tako živ bio Gospod i tako bila živa tvoja duša, neću te ostaviti. Tako otidoše obojica.
