וְהָיָה אִם־לָמֹד יִלְמְדוּ אֶת־דַּרְכֵי עַמִּי לְהִשָּׁבֵעַ בִּשְׁמִי חַי־יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר לִמְּדוּ אֶת־עַמִּי לְהִשָּׁבֵעַ בַּבָּעַל וְנִבְנוּ בְּתֹוךְ עַמִּי׃

והיה אם־למד ילמדו את־דרכי עמי להשבע בשמי חי־יהוה כאשר למדו את־עמי להשבע בבעל ונבנו בתוך עמי׃

Ako onda nauče putove roda mojega i budu se zaklinjali mojim imenom: 'Tako da je živ Gospod!' kao što su oni učili moj narod da se kune baalom, tada će se sazidati usred naroda mojega.

I ako dobro nauče putove naroda mojega, da se zaklinju mojim imenom: tako da je živ Gospod! kao što su oni učili moj narod da se kune Valom, tada će se sazidati usred naroda mojega.
