Tako se je utvrdio kralj Roboam opet u Jerusalemu i vladao je dalje. Imao je Roboam četrdeset i jednu godinu, kad postade kralj, i vladao je sedamnaest godina u Jerusalemu, gradu, koji je bio izabrao Gospod između svih gradova Izraelovih, da ondje namjesti ime svoje. Njegova se mati zvala Naama i bila je Amonka.
