וַיְנַתְּצוּ לְפָנָיו אֵת מִזְבְּחֹות הַבְּעָלִים וְהַחַמָּנִים אֲשֶׁר־לְמַעְלָה מֵעֲלֵיהֶם גִּדֵּעַ וְהָאֲשֵׁרִים וְהַפְּסִלִים וְהַמַּסֵּכֹות שִׁבַּר וְהֵדַק וַיִּזְרֹק עַל־פְּנֵי הַקְּבָרִים הַזֹּבְחִים לָהֶם׃

Pred očima njegovima raskopaše žrtvenike baalove. Stupove sunčane, što su bili gore na njima, dade sasjeći, aštarte, likove rezane i spomenike dade srušiti i satrti i prah od njih dade razasuti po grobovima onih, koji su im bili žrtvovali.
