וְלֹא־יוּכַל יְהוָה עֹוד לָשֵׂאת מִפְּנֵי רֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיכֶם מִפְּנֵי הַתֹּועֵבֹת אֲשֶׁר עֲשִׂיתֶם וַתְּהִי אַרְצְכֶם לְחָרְבָּה וּלְשַׁמָּה וְלִקְלָלָה מֵאֵין יֹושֵׁב כְּהַיֹּום הַזֶּה׃

Gospod nije mogao podnositi zlih djela vaših i gadova, što ste ih činili, i tako je zemlja vaša postala ruševina, groza i kletva. Nitko više ne stanuje u njoj do dana današnjega.

I ne može Gospod više podnositi zloće djela vaših i gadova koje činiste, te zemlja vaša posta pustoš i čudo i prokletstvo, da niko ne živi u njoj, kako se vidi danas.

GOSPOD nije mogao podnijeti vaša nastrana postupanja i užase koje ste počinili, tako je vaša zemlja postala jedno polje ruševina, jedna opustošena površina, ona je prešla u popis proklinjanja; ona je ispražnjena od svojih stanovnika - to je zaista današnje stanje!
