וַיְשִׁבֵנִי אֶל־פֶּתַח הַבַּיִת וְהִנֵּה־מַיִם יֹצְאִים מִתַּחַת מִפְתַּן הַבַּיִת קָדִימָה כִּי־פְנֵי הַבַּיִת קָדִים וְהַמַּיִם יֹרְדִים מִתַּחַת מִכֶּתֶף הַבַּיִת הַיְמָנִית מִנֶּגֶב לַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃

וישבני אל־פתח הבית והנה־מים יצאים מתחת מפתן הבית קדימה כי־פני הבית קדים והמים ירדים מתחת מכתף הבית הימנית מנגב למזבח׃

Tada me povede na ulaz hram. Gle, tu je izlazila voda i ispod praga od hrama k istoku. Pročelje hrama gledalo je na istok. Voda je tekla dolje s desne strane hrama, južno od žrtvenika za žrtve paljenice.

Potom odvede me opet k vratima od doma, i gle, voda izlažaše ispod praga od doma k istoku, jer lice domu bijaše prema istoku; i voda tecijaše dolje s desne strane doma, s južne strane oltara.
