כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה בְּזֹאת תֵּדַע כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מַכֶּה בַּמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר־בְּיָדִי עַל־הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר וְנֶהֶפְכוּ לְדָם׃

Ovako veli Gospod: Po ovom ćeš spoznati, da sam ja Gospod: Evo gle, udarit ću sada štapom u mojoj ruci po vodi Nilu, i ona će se pretvoriti u krv.

Zato Gospod ovako veli: ovako ćeš poznati da sam ja Gospod: evo, udariću štapom što mi je u ruci po vodi što je u rijeci, i prometnuće se u krv.
