כִּי־אֲבִיאֶנּוּ אֶל־הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לַאֲבֹתָיו זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבַשׁ וְאָכַל וְשָׂבַע וְדָשֵׁן וּפָנָה אֶל־אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים וַעֲבָדוּם וְנִאֲצוּנִי וְהֵפֵר אֶת־בְּרִיתִי׃

Odvest ću ih u zemlju, za koju sam se zakleo ocima njihovim, u kojoj teče mlijeko i med. Ali kada budu jeli i nasite se i ugoje se, tada će se obratiti k tuđim bogovima i njima će služiti. A mene će odbaciti i prelomit će zavjet moj.
