וְעָבַר יְהוָה לִנְגֹּף אֶת־מִצְרַיִם וְרָאָה אֶת־הַדָּם עַל־הַמַּשְׁקֹוף וְעַל שְׁתֵּי הַמְּזוּזֹת וּפָסַח יְהוָה עַל־הַפֶּתַח וְלֹא יִתֵּן הַמַּשְׁחִית לָבֹא אֶל־בָּתֵּיכֶם לִנְגֹּף׃

Kad onda izađe Gospod, da bije Egipat, i vidi krv na gornjem pragu i na oba dovratka, proći će Gospod mimo vrata i neće dati anđelu pogubitelju da uđe u kuće vaše, pa da ubija.

Jer će zaći Gospod da bije Misir, pa kad vidi krv na gornjem pragu i na oba dovratka, proći će Gospod mimo ona vrata, i neće dati krvniku da uđe u kuće vaše da ubija.
