וָאֹמַר מָה אֵלֶּה בָאִים לַעֲשֹׂות וַיֹּאמֶר לֵאמֹר אֵלֶּה הַקְּרָנֹות אֲשֶׁר־זֵרוּ אֶת־יְהוּדָה כְּפִי־אִישׁ לֹא־נָשָׂא רֹאשֹׁו וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵלֶּה לְהַחֲרִיד אֹתָם לְיַדֹּות אֶת־קַרְנֹות הַגֹּויִם הַנֹּשְׂאִים קֶרֶן אֶל־אֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה לְזָרֹותָהּ׃ ס

Upitao sam: "Čemu su došli ovi?" Odgovori mi: "Ono su rogovi, što su razasuli Judu, tako da ni jedan čovjek nije podigao glave svoje. Sada su došli ovi, da ih uplaše i da odbiju rogove narodima, koji su podigli rog proti zemlji Judinoj, da je razaspu."
