וַיָּבֵא אֹתִי אֶל־חֲצַר בֵּית־יְהוָה הַפְּנִימִית וְהִנֵּה־פֶתַח הֵיכַל יְהוָה בֵּין הָאוּלָם וּבֵין הַמִּזְבֵּחַ כְּעֶשְׂרִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה אִישׁ אֲחֹרֵיהֶם אֶל־הֵיכַל יְהוָה וּפְנֵיהֶם קֵדְמָה וְהֵמָּה מִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶם קֵדְמָה לַשָּׁמֶשׁ׃

Nato me odvede u nutarnje predvorje kuće Gospodnje. Tu na ulazu u hram Gospodnji, između trijema i žrtvenika za žrtve paljenice, bilo je oko dvadeset i pet ljudi, što su imali leđa svoja okrenuta prema hramu, a lice svoje okrenuto prema istoku sunčanom. Klanjali su se suncu prema istoku.
