Nadalje uvede Jeroboam osmoga mjeseca, petnaestoga dana u mjesecu, blagdan, koji je odgovarao blagdanu u Judi. On sam uzađe na žrtvenik. Isto tako učini u Betelu, da žrtvuje teocima, što ih je bio dao načiniti. I postavi u Betelu svećenike svetišta na visinama, što ih je bio načinio.
