Tada povika Nebukadnezar: "Neka je blagoslovljen Bog Šadrakov. Mešakov i Abed-Negov! On je poslao anđela svojega i oslobodio sluge svoje, koji se pouzdaše u njega, zapovijed kraljevu prestupiše i tjelesa svoja predadoše, da ne bi poštovali drugoga boga niti mu se poklonili osim svojemu!
