(IS) Genesis 34 : 7 Kad sinovi Jakovljevi dođoše kući iz polja i čuše, što se dogodilo, muka bi ljudima vrlo i razgnjeviše se veoma. Jer onaj nanese veliku sramotu Izraelu time što oskvrni kćer Jakovljevu. Tako se što nije smjelo dogoditi.
(JB) Genesis 34 : 7 upravo kad su se Jakovljevi sinovi vraćali iz polja. Kad su čuli vijest, ljudi su bili ojađeni i vrlo ljuti. Što je Šekem učinio - legavši s Jakovljevom kćeri - u Izraelu je bila sramota. To se nije smjelo trpjeti.

(TD) Genesis 34 : 7 Sinovi Jakovljevi vratiše se iz polja. Čim to doznadoše, ti se ljudi osjetiše uvrijeđeni i žestoko se rasrdiše, jer Sišem je počinio jedno besramno djelo u Izraelu legavši s kćeri Jakovljevom; ne treba se tako činiti.
