כִּי־נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר דָּמֹו בְנַפְשֹׁו הוּא וָאֹמַר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל דַּם כָּל־בָּשָׂר לֹא תֹאכֵלוּ כִּי נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר דָּמֹו הִוא כָּל־אֹכְלָיו יִכָּרֵת׃

Jer život svakog živoga bića u krvi je njegovoj. Zato zapovijedam sinovima Izraelovim: ne smijete jesti krvi nijednog živoga bića, jer je život svakog živoga bića u krvi njegovoj. Svaki, koji je jede ima se usmrtiti.
