Kad Danijel saznade da je naredba potpisana, on uđe u kuću svoju. Ova imaše prozore koji se otvarahu, na gornjem katu, u smjeru Jeruzalema .Tri puta dnevno, on se stavljao na koljena, i molio i hvalio u nazočnosti svog Boga, kao što je to činio otprije.
