(BHSCO) Daniel 6 : 12 באדין קריבו ואמרין קדם־מלכא על־אסר מלכא הלא אסר רשמת די כל־אנש די־יבעה מן־כל־אלה ואנש עד־יומין תלתין להן מנך מלכא יתרמא לגוב אריותא ענה מלכא ואמר יציבא מלתא כדת־מדי ופרס די־לא תעדא׃
(IS) Daniel 6 : 12 I otidoše kralju i upitaše za kraljevsku zabranu: "Nijesi li potpisao zabranu, po kojoj svaki, koji za trideset dana upravi kojugod molbu na bilo kojega boga ili čovjeka osim na tebe, kralju, ima se baciti u jamu lavovsku?" Kralj odgovori: "Tako je po neporecivom zakonu medijskoperzijskom."
(JB) Daniel 6 : 12 Tada odoše i pred kraljem se pozvaše na kraljevsku zabranu: Zar ti nisi potpisao zabranu prema kojoj će svaki onaj koji bi u vremenu od trideset dana upravio molbu na nekoga boga ili čovjeka, osim na tebe, o kralju, biti bačen u lavsku jamu? Kralj odgovori: Tako je odlučeno po nepromjenljivom medijsko-perzijskom zakonu.

(DK) Daniel 6 : 12 I otidoše te rekoše caru za carsku zabranu: nijesi li napisao zapovijest, da ko bi se god zamolio kome god bogu ili čovjeku za trideset dana, osim tebi, care, da se baci u jamu lavovsku? Car odgovori i reče: tako je po zakonu Midskom i Persijskom, koji je nepromjenit.
