Odgovori Saul: "Priopćite Davidu: "Kralj ne želi nikakva drugoga ženidbenog dara nego samo što prednjih kožica filistejskih, da se tako osveti neprijateljima kraljevim." Tako je mislio Saul, da rukom Filisteja ukloni s puta Davida.
