Tada zapovjedi Saul momku, koji mu je nosio oružje: "Izvadi mač svoj i probodi me, da ne dođu ti pogani i narugaju mi se!" Ali ne htjede momak, koji mu je nosio oružje, jer se je strašio veoma. I tako Saul sam uze mač i baci se na njega.
