I Saul i sav narod što bješe s njim skupiše se i dođoše do boja, i gle, povadili bjehu mačeve jedan na drugoga, i zabuna bješe vrlo velika.

Saul i sav puk koji biješe s njim skupiše se i dospješe do bojnog polja. Oni bijahu izvukli mačeve jedni protiv drugog i bijaše opća zbrka. Hebreji koji najprije bijahu u službi Filistinaca i koji bijahu uspeli se u tabor s njima načiniše zaokret da bi se spojili sIzraleom na strani Saula i Jonatana.
